Our Story

Founder: Ella-Chanel Kinery 

Beginning at the age of 10, Ella-Chanel and Fluffy entered one another’s life, instantly becoming best buds.  Ella-Chanel took Fluffy everywhere with her,  but their favorite place was Liberty State where they would partake in sunny day picnics. Fluffy remained by her side through her teens and adulthood for 15 years.  Ella-Chanel learned an important thing from Fluffy through the years: LOVE. Even though Fluffy and Ella-Chanel are no longer side by side, his LOVE still remains firm in her life. 

Ella-Chanel has always pet sit for friends, family and volunteered at her local pet shelter. In 2016, she began walking and pet sitting for Rover, and a local dog walking company in Downtown, Jersey City. Ella-Chanel would board dogs at her home from Rover during her free time, giving Fluffy a friend to frolic with. Because of her experience and willingness to perfect her craft, Ella-Chanel joined WAG!, climbing the ladder by earning 5 stars for her dog walking services. However, in 2019 she realized it was time to take a step back from pet services after the loss of her 15 year companion, Fluffy. 

In 2020, Ella-Chanel received a call from a family member, requesting her services to walk their pup BaRock throughout the week. Ella-Chanel was very unsure if she wanted to take on such a task as she was still carrying the grief of Fluffy.  Yet, BaRock and Ella-Chanel began to grow closer and so did their LOVE. In December of 2021, their time together was cut short after BaRock was diagnosed with cancer and went on to be in dog heaven. Ella-Chanel learned a valuable lesson throughout this time period: Thanks to Fluffy, LOVE can bring us joy, but thanks to BaRock it can also heal. 

Ella-Chanel’s mission at Fluffy Lovers Pets is to continue spreading the LOVE Fluffy and BaRock not only taught her, but gave her with all the Fluffy Lovers Pets who joined the family.
